"Sessilija”- For a deeper and greener sea

Joana Holmström-Céspedes

Sessilia is a construction designed to filter water in the oceans and then separating the plastic particles from water and plankton. From the separation process the plastic particles are collected in Sessilia and the water flows through and is by the constructions shape directed towards the turbine part. The turbines provide a natural energy source to power Sessilia. The construction is adapted to the most common monopile foundation and this way the construction can be attached to a wind power fundament and minimizing use of material and construction in the marine environment.
