NON TRADITIONAL GEOMETRY
This stool is the result from a study of firms not usually taken in consideration when products are given shape.
My project was based on the idea that widening the way we look at form and form generation will create opportunities for products and product features that are not existing today. The seat on this stool is
what is called a minimal surface, one of the types of geometry I have looked at in my research. These surfaces, due to their low inner tension, are very strong and gives the opportunity to create a layout for the legs not seen before.
